Hollywood stars shots condemnation to Trump over campaign video

The production company owned by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck has stood up against former US President Donald Trump over the Trump Campaign Video.

A clip of narration from the film Air, which was voiced by Damon was used as part of the video posted on Mr Trump’s social media platform Truth Social.

On discovery of this, the studio, Artist Equity released a statement through Twitter.

The studio said: “Any use of material from Air by the Trump campaign where approval or consent is required, we do not grant such consent.”

The film was produced by Damon and Affleck, and followed the story of Michael Jordan and his partnership with Nike in the 1980’s, creating the Air Jordan sneakers.

There has been no response from Trump as of yet but this isn’t the first time that Trump has got into hot water with his campaign videos, as stars such as the Rolling Stones, Adele and Neil Young have objected to the use of their music in videos.
