British born artist- Kesshia Kumari is reportedly set to sue Italian luxury fashion house Versace for allegedly copying her t-shirt designs. The artist who is known by the name Kesh and is based in LA created the t-shirts as a collaboration with American clothing label- American Apparel. The t-shirts were created for the Spring/Summer collection and featured artwork by Kesh and were sold for $30. They were sported by celebrities such as Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn and Wiz Khalifa.
Big Brother Watch have reported that over 300 people have either been charged or cautioned for messages on social media.

The Spanish government last month passed a new copyright law which imposes fees for online content providers ie Google News. It highlights European concerns (Germany and other European countries also sought to impose similar legislation) that Google is piggybacking on the established news providers without actually doing any reporting.

The BBC reported today that a plan by the New York Police Department to use Twitter to boost its image has backfired. The BBC reported that “Users were asked to tweet a photo of themselves with officers and add the hashtag #myNYPD as part of a social media campaign”.
