During this current pandemic the UK IPO has closed its London and Newport premises. However, it is reassuring everyone that its services ‘will remain unaffected’ as the majority of its staff are ‘already equipped to work from home’.
It has implemented a few changes including, no longer processing business or communication through the usual method of fax and paper. It is continuing to implement hearings through digital methods where possible and has set up a new email address for services not available online.
