Intellectual Property Act 2014

Design law protects both registered and unregistered designs and can be ‘located’ under three pieces of legislation namely the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (‘CDPA’), the Registered Designs Act 1949 (‘RDA’) and the Community Designs Regulation (6/2002/EC) (‘CDR’).
