Farmers, please do not worry; things are not that bad. Any farmer worth his salt needs to plan ahead in terms of food production. So why not plan ahead in terms of your tax planning?

The exaggeration has been overwhelming. What is the truth, though, and why do so many bad actors continue to make false claims?

Let’s say your farm is worth £5,000,000. Ignoring Agricultural Property Relief (APR) or Business Property Relief (BPR) for now, why not transfer the farm to your children? If you live for more than 7 years after the transfer, you are exempt from paying IHT.
