EU General Court finds that PUSH and PUNCH are similar! We say its bonkers

The EU General Court has agreed with a decision of an EUIPO board of appeal that there was likelihood of confusion between the word PUSH in relation to tobacco products, and an earlier Spanish national trade mark PUNCH.

The General Court said EUIPO was right to hold that the signs were visually and phonetically similar!

At Lawdit somone said – this will make the Brexit lot rub their hands with glee as an example of how EU wide laws wont work!Â
