Ericsson raises the ante and sues apple

Ericsson said :- “Our technology is used in many features and functionality” The dispute covers Ericsson’s use of second and fourth generation mobile networks. It owns more than 35,000 patents covering mobile technologies.

One estimate is that if the courts side with Ericsson it would get payments of up to $725m annually from Apple.
