Dont touch my music!

The Beastie Boys’ Adam Yauch probate has revealed that he would not allow the use of his music and “artistic property” for any form of advertising purposes. His will which was submitted on Tuesday in Manhattan Surrogate ie probate court. Part of his will as obtained by Rolling Stone magazine states “Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, in no event may my image or name or any music or any artistic property created by me be used for advertising purposes,” the latter was in was added in handwriting.

His estate amounted to $6.4 million which he left to his wife and their daughter, Tenzin Losel.
