Apple’s dispute with Samsung kicks off this week

This week saw the exciting start of the trial between Apple and Samsung about tablet computers and Community Registered Designs. It will be before His Honour Judge Birss, who will sit as a Judge of the High Court. The excellent Michael Silverleaf QC is heading up the legal team for Apple and Mr Carr ( not Jimmy) QC heads up Samsung’s. Both counsel are from the superb chambers 11 South Square.
