Parts of a Product are also Protectable

As well as the whole product, parts of the product are also protectable, provided they can be seen by the end user when in normal use, are parts which are replaceable and intended to be assembled and disassembled, and are in themselves new and have individual character. For example, a pen-top may be protectable, but the internal workings of a pen, such as cartridge holders, which are not ordinarily on view, may not be.
