It has been reported this week that the dispute between leading drinks company Diageo and the supermarket chain Sainsbury’s has been settled.
Diageo raised a dispute over the similarity of an alcoholic based drink called ‘Pitchers’ which was said to resemble (in many ways) the world famous ‘Pimms’ drink sold by Diageo.
However it is believed that the two entities have reached a settlement which will result in Sainsbury’s changing the design of its packaging and label to differentiate the ‘Pitchers’ product from the ‘Pimms’ product.
