The High Court has recently ruled that Quads4Kids, a business selling childrenÂs bikes on eBay does not infringe the Community Design right of Dr Collin Campbell, who had used VeRO, a dispute process on the eBay site to stop Quads4Kids sale.
Quads4Kids wished to resume its sales through eBay. It said CampbellÂs statement was a sheer threat and asked for an interim injunction to prevent Campbell from making any more threats.
Quads4Kids made the case to the High Court claiming that a threat without legal action is not permitted by the Community Design Regulations of 2005, the High Court Judge Pumfrey agreed in his ruling.
