Apple Settles Patent Claim

Apple has settled its Patent dispute with Creative Technology for $100 million. Â

The dispute involved the use by Apple of Patented technology in its world famous i-pod. Creative, the owners of the Patent sued for infringement. Â

The claim involved the use of five separate Patents.

This settlement means that Apple can continue to use the technology in its i-pod. Â

If anyone ever questioned the importance of invention and intellectual property to protect it, this case should change their minds.
